This article will review record permission definitions.
STANDARD PERMISSIONS
Every record in the system will have these standard permissions:
View - If a Team, User Group, Location or Individual User has this item checked, they will have access to search, open and view the record.
Edit - If a Team, User Group, Location or Individual User has this item checked, they will have access to the edit option and will be able to make edits to the record.
Delete - If a Team, User Group, Location or Individual User has this item checked, they will have access to the Deactivate/Reactivate menu item and will be able to delete the record.
Admin - If a Team, User Group, Location or Individual User has this item checked, they will have access to modify permissions for the record.
DEAL PERMISSIONS
Deal records will have these additional permissions:
View Pipeline/Commissions? - If a Team, User Group, Location or Individual User has this item checked, it will allow this record to show up in the users My Pipeline list (for Pipeline records), they will also have access to the ‘Accounting Tab’ Reports menu item with the following reports:
Statement
Client Survey
Late Payment Cover Letter
Survey Cover Letter
Broker Deal Sheet
Broker Invoices
Deal Participant? (and View Pipeline/Commissions) - If a Team, User Group, Location or Individual User has this item checked, they will have access to specific deal notes where the ‘Inherit Permission from…’ setting is set to ‘Inherit All’ or 'Only Inherit those marked Deal Participant'.
