Contacts
Phase I: Can add the same field more than once. All criteria are and
The Contacts section allows you to filter by Contacts or Companies that played a role in the transaction. You can specify which role or designation (e.g. Listing Broker or Client) and add as many Contacts or Companies to the filter as you wish.
Please note: If you add Contacts/Companies with different roles to the filter, the results will only include Comps which have all of those Contacts/Companies with those roles. If you add two or more Contacts/Companies with the same role to the filter, the results will include any Comp which has at least one of those Contacts/Companies with that role.
For example, if you search for John Smith as a Listing Broker and The Home Depot, Inc. as the Buyer/Tenant, then all of the resulting comps will have John Smith as a Listing Broker and The Home Depot, Inc. as the Buyer/Tenant.
However, if you add Sarah Miller as a Listing Broker to the search filters, then the results will include comps which have either John Smith or Sarah Miller as a Listing Broker. All of the resulting comps will still have The Home Depot, Inc. as the Buyer/Tenant.
Other
Phase I: option to select multiple criteria from a pulldown at the same time. Can’t add the same field more than once. All criteria are and except for multiple selections from the same pulldown.
The Other section replaces the Comp Advanced Search option that used to be on a separate form. You can now combine the commonly used filters from the sections above with additional filters for almost every available building, space or comp attribute.
The same concept applies here that was described in the Contacts section: If filters are added for different fields, the results will include comps which meet all of those criteria.
If more than one filter is added for the same field, the results will include comps which meet any of the different criteria for the same field.
